AWANA Club Registration
Our HERE Ministries are open to anyone who has decided to call FBC Goliad their home church and has followed through with membership. Even if you are still growing in the Lord you can find a place to serve HERE.
**There are HERE Ministries that require a background check because they either require you to be working around kids or they are required for State/Insurance purposes. Those are highlighted in RED.
AWANA Volunteer
Assists with running the class and is available to step in and lead if the leader is unable
Children's Church Leader
Leads the 4 year old - 2nd grade kids in a lesson and crafts during Children's Church time on Sunday Mornings.
Gatekeepers Ministry
Safety and Security Team that is on duty during service and church functions. This Team requires completion of the training course, a criminal background check and a state issued LTC (if you plan to carry)
Nursery/Toddler Volunteer
Assist our staff nursery worker with attending to the children in the nursery. Changing diapers, holding and comforting a baby, playing games with the toddlers
Properties Committee
Makes decisions and is ultimately responsible for the upkeep and condition of the church campus and grounds. This committee meets the 1st Wednesday of the month.
Transportation Team
Licensed Drivers that operate the church vans when needed. For example: driving the Sunday Morning Shuttle out to the STCH campus, driving shuttle routes for VBS, driving youth to camp or members to fellowship outings. Must have a Texas State issued license, have a clean MVR, and be at least 21 years old.
VBS Volunteer
Assists with running the different stations and is available to step in and lead if the leader is unable.
Worship Team
Musicians that lead music during the worship service. Must be a member of the church in good standing and will be asked to either audition or to submit a Resume
Youth Committee
Serves as a guiding board for the Youth Minister and our youth program. This committee sets fundraisers, chooses camps, and assists the Youth Minister in running the Youth Ministry.
Youth Volunteer
Assist the Youth Minister on Wednesday Evening activities or attends camp as a counselor.
